Only two more fights and we’re finally done with the League of Explorers. Feels like it’s taken forever, but it’s over!
We’ve just got to take out the big scary dinosaur skeleton with the Rogue (which is not what I used before) and take out the plinky armor of doom with the Mage…again. Then it’s time to bid farewell to Dundee and gear up to head back to Blackrock Mountain on Heroic mode. Oh goodie.
It’s time to take on the final boss! He’s threatening to show me his staff! Not cool man!
Luckily there’s plenty of crap laying around the Hall of Explorers that he hasn’t managed to steal yet. Hopefully some of it will be able to help us beat this Mumm-Ra wannabe!
Mumm-Ra attacks! Except not exactly. The dirty thief who has been snatching up all the good stuff from the Hall of Explorers has now stolen our deck! Klepto much?
So apparently my decks are too good even when a stupid AI plays them, and my skill level is too low to beat my decks with the backup deck Elise gives me. So I guess I’ll just build some crap for him to steal! HA!
It’s a magically animated suit of armor! Holy crap that’s awesome! Look at that super-sweet hero portrait! Dude!
The problem is that the stupid thing only takes one damage at a time, so we have to plink it to death in a long grindy game. To fight against that I went Tempo Mage, a deck that specializes in dealing damage in lots of small packages thanks to Flamewaker. Let the plinking begin!
It’s a big dinosaur skeleton! Seriously, it is. I mean, look at it. How exactly does being a big dinosaur skeleton translate into free cards? Insert Jurassic joke here I suppose.
Much like some of the Tavern Brawls, this one is an RNG-based bit of insanity. Like for instance when the big dinosaur skeleton drops a Nozdormu and the game breaks and I lose! ARGH! But other than that it’s pretty awesome.
