This episode begins with super sexy Unstable lands. Then we bounce around Iconic Masters and try to figure out 1) what exactly is the point of this set? and B) why are there so many kitties in the art?
After that it’s back to Ixalan! There’s still a lot awesome stuff here to talk about, including the new Vraska, terrors of the sky, and what weird monkey goblins put in cannons.

so Jace is the new “Where is Waldo” of magic?
I had never even heard of The Room before it showed surprisingly on my DVR a few years ago. I had set my DVR to record all the episodes of Robot Chicken, when Cartoon network aired The Room as an April Fools joke in the Robot Chicken time slot. I was so confused, but very intrigued to watch 2 guys run through a neighborhood throwing a football for what felt like hours.
I want to thank Chewie again for bringing Alex and Sharon Shaw onto the show 2 years (I would have sworn that the crossover with School of Movies was at most a year ago, but it was October 2015!) ago. I have listened to every episode that discusses a movie I’ve seen, which is most of them. I also highly recommend their recent episode for Guardians of the Galaxy 2, which begins with one of the most emotional moments of any podcast I’ve ever heard.
Also, Chewie, I loved the Lewis Black reference near the end of the episode.
That’s a bizarre way to watch a bizarre movie. Good on you for surviving! And yeah, I was listening to the beginning of the Guardians 2 episode on a drive, almost back to the dealership. I had to stop the podcast and pull into a parking lot before I got to the dealership to compose myself 😉
And since this was recorded like 3 weeks ago, I don’t actually remember my Lewis Black reference. Did it involve a horse and college? :p
