This episode is pretty simple. After the always-adorable Sam Quiz, we’re doing a Mythic Conscription of Ravnica: City of Guilds! Depending on how you look at it, this one is either really easy or really hard, because the power level seems to be concentrated in just a few cards. But don’t worry, there’s plenty of discussion to be had!
There are also some discussions about streaming, cruises, and outnumbering children. You’ve been warned.

Just an FYI, Mark Rosewater recently did a card-by-card review of Ravnica on his Drive to Work Podcast, and made many similar points to what you guys said in this episode. Also, he freaking mispronounced “Agrus” every freaking time!
Also, Dark Confidant is an interesting mythic discussion. I strongly feel that it shouldn’t be mythic, and that it would not have been a mythic if it was in, say, Alara Block (where mythics were first introduced). However, with the shift from mythic’s like Godsire to Deathmist Raptor, Dark Confidant most certainly would have been mythic in Amonkhet. Still, in the mythic era, there are a ton of powerful and cheap utility creatures (Snapcaster Mage, Thalia, Noble Hierarch, Deathrite Shaman, Stoneforge Mystic, etc.) that were printed at rare.
Awesome episode! Also freaking AMAZING reference at the end…”I remember the face of my father.” That made me smile!
