Hey look, another live episode already! Yeah, it turns out that the week after the week we took off due to Thanksgiving, Brian decided to go to Disney World and forget to remind us. We determined that he was missing…about an hour or so before starting. Since having Brian around was pretty essential for the topic we had in mind, we panicked. Thus, I bring you the live episode we recorded just last month!
We start off with a nice and sorta quick Commander game. Then we have a particularly brutal (and therefore short) Archenemy game played with 60-card casual decks.
Of course, we can’t have two short games without having one stupidly long one. Taking up fully half of the unedited time, we played a game of Planechase. If I remember correctly…nope, I don’t. I’ve blocked it. But don’t worry, this game isn’t actually all that bad. This definitely wasn’t the worst game we played that day. Hope you enjoy!

When are we going to get back to regular type casts where it’s not just commander games and such. It has been 5 in a row now that are just casual games.
Really missing newer news and such.
I suppose two out of the last four episodes being live episodes does in fact count as “five in a row”. And this week it was either another live show or another skipped week, so we went with the live show we already had in the can. Rest assured that we’ll have another “normal” episode recorded tomorrow night, and I might actually post it at some point despite your comment :p
‘and I might actually post it at some point’
I lost it there.. hahaha.
I didn’t mean to come off like you guys did anything wrong because you obviously didn’t. I’m just missing the normal cast thats full of bs and news. This is one of my top 5 favorite podcasts.
I suppose it’s true we’ve been fairly light on news, but I think that’s mainly because there hasn’t been much news worth talking about.
How anything we discuss doesn’t immediately get counted as BS is completely beyond me.
I too, am outraged. Why, I have half a mind to start paying the Mana Pool money for every episode they release, so that I may then withhold payment from them in protest of these live episodes, which I am forced to listen to by my tyrannical iPod overlord.
That said, there is lots of newer news in this episode. For instance, apparently Launchpad McQuack has never said anything interesting. Surprised by this, I re-watched every episode of DuckTales, Darkwing Duck, and, for some reason, Goof Troop, just to make sure. Turns out, it’s true.
Is Chewie still scrying now or just scrying on the inside?
