Episode 252 – Rotated (and Touched)

Dead Titans

As we tend to do with every Standard rotation, we’re going to take a look at all the things that we won’t be hearing about any more.  Scars of Mirrodin, Mirrodin Besieged, New Phyrexia, and Magic 2012 are all gone, and that means no more Titans, Infect, Elesh Norn, Bloodthirst, Heroes, Slagstorm, Ponder, Swords, and ALL KINDS of other stuff!

To help us out with this discussion, we brought on everyone’s favorite podcaster, Chris Lansdell (@lansdellicious).  And I’m glad we did, because this show was entirely too much fun.

You may notice a very small difference in the intro.  That’s all for you, Myke Okuhara!

Oh yeah, be sure you hang around until the end.  Trust me on this one.

Awesome episode. Which gave me the idea that someone should make: Sword of B.S. and Cheating and Bad at This Game. Those would be totally wizard cards.

This Brian quote seriously needs to go on the record: “Brainstorm would be fine as a sorcery that cost three, two of which are blue, and one of which is ‘Kiss My Ass’.”

A listner for only a few months but have been listening to the back cat of your shows and enjoying them.

This episode however I stopped listening @ 3:03
This… ‘guest’ is just intolerable (So much so that I felt I needed to post it apparently), his speech is poison. I imagine the next episode is much better :]

Chris isn’t for everyone, but I don’t know if I’d go that far. He’s eased up a lot over the years though, and he was the guest on the latest episode. And I thought it was one of our best, so hopefully you’ll give it a chance!
